![]() If you don't have Quick Slash, replace it with Soul Catcher and Grub Song or Soul Eater if you have the notches - the fight will take longer but you won't run out of Soul to heal with due to not being able to trade as many hits. I guarantee you will beat it this way comfortably with at least half your HP left at the end of it. Trust me, this makes the fight ridiculously easy and very, very fast. He usually only hits you 2-3 times (by jumping on you, then jumping straight up and landing on you again) before jumping away again or doing the rain attack, netting you triple or more trade hits followed by some heal time. Spore Shroom or Thorns of Agony is just for extra damage (or if you have the rest of the notches, 11 total, you can change it out for Fragile or Unbreakable Strength).Īnyway, he will absolutely give you more than enough opportunity to heal 1-3 HP (especially with Quick Focus) since he jumps away a lot and uses his rain often enough, which pretty much never hits you in that leftmost wall (the rain I mean), and you will refill your soul enough to replace any HP lost whenever he jumps on you and you use the i-frames for the Quick Slash trade hits. You WILL take damage when he jumps on you, but for every hit you take you will trade like 3-5 hits due to Stalwart and Quick Slash - and when he jumps away or starts making it rain, heal as much back as you can which is easy with Quick Focus. doesn't move you) and just continually spam up attack. ![]() Stand as far into the left wall as you can to be completely safe from his "rain" attack, face right (so when you get hit it just knocks you against the wall - i.e. Take these charms (You only need 9 notches): ![]() The easiest/cheesiest way to beat this guy is as follows: Yes, it's quite doable killing him with crappy equipment without ever hiding in those nooks on the floor, but. OK, after a few tries I got his pattern down. I might give it another go just to see if there's ways to counter all that nonsense. To make things even more annoying, his jumping seems to be completely random and often put him in places where you have no chance of ever getting enough height to bounce over him, and he often retreats into the ceiling with much the same effect (with the added bonus of randomly spread-out, and therefore often undodgable goop falling from the ceiling). On top of that, even though it IS indeed quite easy to bounce over him when he rushes past once you take his weird hitbox into account, he tends to randomly stop running and fling infection goop in a pattern that's completely undodgeable if you're stuck above him hoping for a downwards nail slash. There's a ton of annoying things about Nosk for starters, his hitbox doesn't seem to coincide with his actual appearance on screen at all, so whenever you try to nailbounce off his head, you just slash into nothingness and take damage when you land on his wildly flapping body. Just for the heck of it, I tried him just now abusing the arena only to heal when I had to.
